Our client, a mid-sized law firm located in downtown Vancouver, is seeking to hire an intermediate experienced paralegal to work with their litigation team. This is an in-office role however our client is open to hybrid work arrangements.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Create, organize and maintain documents using eDiscovery software.
- Review files, identify legal issues, ensure relevant records and documents are obtained, assisting counsel in preparing for examinations for discovery, mediation and trials.
- Prepare, draft, and manage legal documentation including court applications, chronologies and trial briefs.
Here’s what you bring to our team:
- Five to ten years of relevant paralegal experience.
- Completion of a Paralegal program is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent document drafting skills.
- A strong work ethic and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while under pressure.
- Consistently accurate and reliable in your work.
- Ability to work independently with general instruction and guidance.
- Solid proficiency in Word, Adobe, and eDiscovery software.
The salary range for this position is $76,000 – $90,000 and is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills,
and experience. Our client also offers a comprehensive package of benefits, including an RRSP Matching Program.
