Hiring a Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant in Construction & Infrastructure

A respected and well-established law firm is currently seeking a driven and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to support its busy litigation practice focused on construction and infrastructure. This firm is widely recognized for its expertise across construction and infrastructure, real estate, corporate/commercial law, insurance, and corporate litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate information clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
  • Prepare and draft legal correspondence and documentation
  • Oversee administrative processes, including file management (opening and closing), calendar coordination, scheduling, and bring-forward systems
  • Format and edit complex documents such as reports, forms, spreadsheets, and legal materials
  • Coordinate examinations for discovery and assist with trial scheduling
  • Effectively prioritize tasks and manage a high-volume workload in a demanding practice
  • Handle and organize substantial volumes of incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with limitation periods
  • Enter time and assist with billing processes
  • Process incoming mail and prepare outgoing packages
  • Provide additional administrative support as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant
  • Prior experience in litigation is required
  • Strong organizational and document management abilities with keen attention to detail
  • High level of technical proficiency and comfort with legal software systems
  • Experience with database management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), internet applications, case management systems, and timekeeping software

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary ranging from $70,000 to $85,000, depending on relevant litigation experience
