Our client is looking for a legal administrative assistant  to work in their Downtown Vancouver office in Wills, Estates and Trusts. They offer a collaborative work environment, competitive salary and rewarding opportunities in a professional environment. The successful candidate will work on a team supporting a partner and two paralegals.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft various estate planning documents and correspondence
  • File opening and closing
  • Maintaining BF system and client contact list
  • Coordinating and setting up client appointments
  • Maintaining electronic and paper files
  • Preparation of client invoices
  • Scanning and photocopying
  • Administrative support and other administrative duties
  • Attending as witness on execution of client documents

Qualifications:

  • Graduation of recognized LAA program
  • 2+ years’ experience working in a law firm
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and written & oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe
  • Working knowledge of BC Online and MYLTSA is considered an asset
  • Experience with Worldox is considered and asset
