Mid-sized Law Firm Looking for a Corporate Services Clerk!

Our client is a mid-sized law firm located in downtown Vancouver and they are seeking to fill the position of a Corporate Services Clerk to work in their offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and filing – annual reports and consent resolutions for BC & Canada Corporations and extra-provincial annual returns
  • Preparation of invoices and allocating payments upon receipt
  • Updating ALF database as required
  • Maintaining corporate files and minute books
  • Conducting BC Online Searches
  • Preparing routine corporate work as delegated by staff
  • Closing corporate files
  • Sending minute books out for registered and record office changes

Qualifications:

  • 2 years or more working in a corporate services department of a law office
  • Graduation from an LAA program preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word & Excel & BC Online
  • Knowledge of Alf, Worldox and/or Elite is an asset
  • Organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Team player
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
