Our client is a mid-sized law firm located in downtown Vancouver and they are seeking to fill the position of a Corporate Services Clerk to work in their offices.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and filing – annual reports and consent resolutions for BC & Canada Corporations and extra-provincial annual returns
- Preparation of invoices and allocating payments upon receipt
- Updating ALF database as required
- Maintaining corporate files and minute books
- Conducting BC Online Searches
- Preparing routine corporate work as delegated by staff
- Closing corporate files
- Sending minute books out for registered and record office changes
Qualifications:
- 2 years or more working in a corporate services department of a law office
- Graduation from an LAA program preferred
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word & Excel & BC Online
- Knowledge of Alf, Worldox and/or Elite is an asset
- Organizational skills and detail oriented
- Team player
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
