Our client, a firm located in Langley’s downtown core, is seeking a junior corporate paralegal with a minimum of 4 years’ experience to join their dynamic team!
Responsibilities include: preparation of documents relating to BC, Federal & extra-provincial companies & societies; including incorporations/registrations, corporate reorganizations, dividends, alterations and article amalgamations, share/asset transactions, director and officer changes, name changes, amalgamations, continuations, dissolutions and restorations. The position also comprises preparing minute book reviews and other due diligence; filings and registrations; ALF input and updates; correspondence with clients, solicitors & accountants; and performing administrative and related duties as assigned. Working knowledge of BC Online, ALF & Microsoft Office would be preferred. Ideally the candidate has superb communication & interpersonal skills, is organized, is able to multi-task and prioritize in fast paced environment. Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail is a must! Working knowledge of PC Law, Worldox or Time Matters would be an asset as well.
