Hiring LAA to work Insolvency for Mid-Sized Law Firm in Vancouver

Our client is a mid-sized law firm located in Vancouver that has been in business for over 40 years. They are looking for an insolvency LAA to help their team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • File opening
  • BC Online, LTSA & court searches
  • Preparation of standard letters, notice of civil claim, and other legal documents
  • Attend to and monitor service of documents
  • Attend to all correspondence
  • Screening of debtor’s enquiries and reporting to collection manager
  • Maintaining bring forward system
  • File closures
  • File management including organizing and managing documents
  • General administrative tasks as required


  • 3+ years’ experience
  • LAA Diploma or Certificate from recognized institution
  • Attention to detail
  • Motivated with a desire to learn
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
