Our client is a boutique law firm in Vancouver. They are looking for an experienced LAA to join their estate litigation team to work closely with their lawyers.
Responsibilities include:
- preparing and drafting legal documentation and correspondence as required
- file management
- fielding a high volume of client requests via email and telephone throughout the day
- maintaining daily BF’s
- handling incoming and outgoing mail
- entering time and preparing monthly bills
- preparing deposit and cheque requests
- maintaining wills and safekeeping documents in firm vaults
- other related tasks as required
Qualifications and experience:
- a recent graduate from a recognized LAA program, up to two years of experience
- previous office experiences an asset
- advanced computer skills, including a good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment with great attention to detail
- professional and organized at all times, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- motivated and enthusiastic
