Entertainment Law Firm Looking to Hire a Corporate/Commercial LAA (Partially Remote)!

Our client is an established law firm in the entertainment and business sector. They are seeking to hire a corporate/commercial LAA to work three days in their office, and two at home.

Responsibilities:

  • Editing/formatting various documents
  • Preparation of relevant trust paperwork
  • Coordinating the execution and collation of transaction documents
  • Preparation of digital closing books
  • Perform complex editing and formatting of documents for various correspondence, agreements, reports, forms and spreadsheets
  • Provide general practice support and handle standard administrative tasks
  • File openings (know your client, source of Money forms), file closings and archiving, billing and trust paperwork
  • Management of calendars, meeting schedules, contact lists and bring-forwards for team of lawyers
  • Answer and direct phone calls on an as-needed basis
  • Provide ancillary administrative support on large scale projects/transaction

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experiences working as an LAA in a busy office environment
  • Graduated from accredited LAA program
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience with Worldox, Workshare Compare, Excel, and PC Law preferred
  • Experience with PowerPoint, DocuSign and BC Online considered an asset
  • Strong business communication
