Corporate Services Clerk Needed for One Year Contract in Downtown Law Firm

Our client, a mid-sized law firm located in downtown Vancouver, is seeking to hire a corporate services clerk on a one-year contract. This is an in-office role.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintenance of files and minute books
  • Preparation and filing of annual reports and annual consent resolutions
  • Receiving and coordinating execution and filing of annual documents
  • Preparation of invoices and allocating payments upon receipt
  • Updates to ALF database
  • Registry filings to update director addresses and other basic corporate details, as required
  • Corporate searches
  • Preparation of routine corporate work
  • Sending and receiving minute books
  • Closing files

Here is what you bring to the team:

  • A minimum of two years of relevant work experience
  • Graduation from a Legal Administrative Assistant Program is an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Solid proficiency in MS Office 365, PDF software, DocuSign, and BC Online
  • Knowledge of Alf is considered an asset
  • Team player

The salary range for this position is $50,000 – $62,000 and is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Also offered are group benefits. Please send your resume today!
