Our client, a mid-sized law firm located in downtown Vancouver, is seeking to hire a corporate services clerk on a one-year contract. This is an in-office role.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Maintenance of files and minute books
- Preparation and filing of annual reports and annual consent resolutions
- Receiving and coordinating execution and filing of annual documents
- Preparation of invoices and allocating payments upon receipt
- Updates to ALF database
- Registry filings to update director addresses and other basic corporate details, as required
- Corporate searches
- Preparation of routine corporate work
- Sending and receiving minute books
- Closing files
Here is what you bring to the team:
- A minimum of two years of relevant work experience
- Graduation from a Legal Administrative Assistant Program is an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Solid proficiency in MS Office 365, PDF software, DocuSign, and BC Online
- Knowledge of Alf is considered an asset
- Team player
The salary range for this position is $50,000 – $62,000 and is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Also offered are group benefits. Please send your resume today!
