A boutique law firm that specializes in real estate development, business, and commercial lending is seeking a Firm Administrator for a 12-Month Maternity Leave Contract commencing at the end of May 2021.
Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to include but are not limited to assisting the Managing Partner in the management of the day-to day operations of the firm; liaising with the Administrative team, consisting of an Office Services Clerk, Accounting Manager, two Accounting Clerks, and IT Manager; payroll, salary, vacation/sick time and benefits administration; recruiting, onboarding, teaming and training of staff, associates and articled students; general facilities/premise management; back-up for IT Manager as needed; participating in the execution of marketing and business development initiatives; and overseeing planning for firm and client social events with assistance from the Office Services Clerk. The hours are 8:30 to 4:30, with an hour unpaid lunch break.

If you have previous experience in Human Resources, preferably within a law office or professional environment, effective communication abilities, strong organizational skills, and the ability to juggle demands and prioritize effectively, this is the role for you! Candidates with intimate working knowledge of MS Office Suite 2019, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to exercise initiative and sound judgement will be given priority in the selection process.
